Metamorphosis is open to anyone who is curious about their addictions or compulsions, whether you are exploring this topic for the first time, have intimate knowledge of your patterns, experienced in recovery or not.
This retreat is based on the special and specific format of KIX, an addiction recovery project born out of my long personal history of (multiple) addictions and professional work.

Games and sharing
Visualizations, drawing and writing
🚂 Held in the beautiful Seminarhof Drawehn with delicious food, comfortable beds, a special studio to hold our process and a sauna to integrate.

About Harvest x-dance
Erntedank is a German word (I recently learned) to encapsulate the end of harvest – a time of celebration and a gratitude to what the summer brought (or didn’t). This year’s “Erntedank” falls on October 5, therefore, what a beautiful opportunity to take this vibration and curiosity into our dance together on the Saturday.
Harvest x-dance will offer a variety of creative ways to explore your personal theme of “thankfulness”. Alongside the main 5Rhythms wave there will be optional spaces to bring this investigation to life.
We’ll let our thinking minds be still, and bring aliveness and curiosity to through the body :
What did these summer months offer me?
Can I make space for appreciation, even if it wasn’t as “planned”? Or that I might have “tried hard” for something?
What could celebration look like in real and true way for me?
Did I receive any unexpected gifts? Even if the “harvest” wasn’t as expected?

An unnameable energy these days. Something that`s a combination of sad-angry-exhausted-hopeful-playful-exasperated-done-alive-lost.
So, I got myself a prop (chair) to give me an object to relate to, for my energy to "be met" in a different way than the wide open space.
The recording of my experiment got cut short with Indie (my dog-creature-companion who still doesn`t really get my dances). I share it with you anyway, a mid-breath pause .........

When I heard Berlin Nocturnes perform their live poetry and music "The Er0t*c Album", my whole body was vibrating. The sounds and the words were at once deeply sensual, vulnerable, a huge turn on, funny and seducingly wise.
I was yearning to get up from my chair and move along with them - and fast forward to now .....
This Saturday (Sept 27), we are co-creating a deliciously sensual space for you.
First, I`ll lead you through a 5Rhythms Dance to guide you into your body x breath x heart and the space with each other.
Then, Berlin Nocturnes will take us on a journey 🍯 💦 🍆 🍑
Each poem in The Erotic Album was written from a different part of the body — fingers, tongue, penis, heart. Accompanied by live piano, electric guitar, a soundscape of rolling waves to pulsing heartbeats, and scent, every note offers a new flavour of the erotic.
Sometimes surreal, sometimes playful, often curious, soulful and powerful.
With deep bass, tender piano tones, and sensual soundscapes, this live set invites the erotic to resonate through your body — one part at a time.

as we close in on 2 years of the P@lestinian G3n0cide and I return from the latest fundraiser I had the honor to co-host ...... some sharing .....
it has indeed been a painful 2 years. Much in my inner world imploded and then needed mass re-calibration in October 2023.
Much of my outer life changed too.
Re-connecting to my Palestinian roots and an open heart. To let the pain and rage and sense of powerlessness alchemize me. There is not a day that goes by where I am not deeply affected by the g3n0cide. I am understanding agency and freedom of choice for myself in a whole new way.
More and more, I witness and support clients in their own pain, rage, fear, powerlessness and empowered action. Moral Injury is a real thing, and for those with the courage, willingness and resources to witness and stay present to the m@ssacres, media misrepresentation and incorrect information .... moral injury is a deeply painful initiation - hearts broken open.
One huge gift has been an expansive community that is yearning to bring awareness, healing and also raising funds for the people of Gaza. It is a way to be in my agency with my offerings of music x dance x aliveness to raise our hearts, our prayers, our vibrations - and our actions - to the people of Palestine and in movement to freedom.
Thank you to the latest fundraiser in New Mills for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) ..... It was their first ever Ecstatic Dance and what a dance it was 🇵🇸🌈🕊️🤍

KIX Retreat: A 5Rhythms Dance × Addiction Recovery Journey
From October 30 – November 2, join us at the serene Seminarhof Drawehn (just 2 hours from Berlin) for a weekend of movement, creativity, and resourcing.
KIX is my heart project that was born out of my exploration of the insidiousness and pervasiveness of my multiple addictions and working with others on meeting and releasing theirs with compassion, cuorisity and non-shaming. My personal journey has led me to this work - a unique program to lead a fulfilling and addiction-free life - and is an immense honor to pass it forward.
“We can only keep what we give away”.
This space is open to anyone who is curious about their addictions or compulsions, whether you are exploring this topic for the first time, have intimate knowledge of your patterns, experienced in recovery or not.

it is a precious gift to be in this body and the more i gently cultivate that, the more agency i have in moments of pain or sadness or anger or joy. the more choice i offer myself to move with what is, being able to meet the moment yet not get sucked into it. dancing is my favorite and most accessible way in. although the last week, i had so many beautiful moments of hiking and running and swimming and simply walking, walking, walking through towns and cities. plus a happy creature to meet me on my return, ready to continue the ritual in berlin`s summer sun.

x-dance is an open and non-judgemental space that invites you to come exactly as you are. No previous dance or other experience required.

Doors open at 19.15 and close promptly at 19.45. Please note entry after 19.45 isn’t possible.
♦️Welcome + 5Rhythms Warm-up: We will begin the evening with a full 5Rhythms wave – 5 fundamental life energies (rhythms) through the dance. The music is played like a “wave” where it goes up and comes back down again.
♦️Album Dance: After our warm-up and a gentle transition for water etc, we will move to one full album.
♦️Take it Further - Gathering after class: Once the official dance is over, we open the space for all who want to stay and connect. There will be snacks, opportunities for exchange and spaces for quiet reflections, too.
♦️No phones: To allow for greatest spontaneity, creativity and freedom of expression, no phones on the dance floor.
